Lyle Harvey Bush

Lyle Harvey Bush, age 83, of Wellsboro, PA (formerly of Langhorne PA), died on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his home. Born on February 22, 1941, Lyle was the son of the late Lyle and Naomi Bush. Lyle proudly served in the Unites States Army. He was most proud of his service as an MP at the well-known “Check point Charlie” in Berlin. Lyle enjoyed sharing stories of his military adventures with family and friends. He was a very talented artist who enjoyed among other hobbies, oil painting and clay work. He was an accomplished sculptor and potter. He owned his own business creating and distributing ceramic molds, many of which are still widely used today. As an avid outdoorsman, Lyle loved spending time outdoors. He imparted his love of nature to his children through many trips that included hiking, backpacking, fishing, and camping. Lyle also loved animals and always had a favorite pet at his side. Left to cherish the memories made together, are his wife Helga, his children, Christopher, Jacquelyn, David, and Peter, sisters Marilyn Zeller and Barbara Setting, many grandchildren and nieces.
