Harry Paul Hill, Jr.

Harry Paul Hill, Jr., age 63, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022, with family by his side at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He married the love of his life, Susan A. (Aumick) Hill, on January 24, 1976, sharing 46 years of marriage together. Born November 10, 1958, in Blossburg, he is a son of the late Harry Paul Hill, Sr. and Marjorie Marie (Strock) Hill, who survives.

Paul, as most people knew him, was employed as a truck driver with Sullivan Township and retired from Cross Excavating, as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator, in 2009. He loved hunting and fishing, having caught many catfish in the Susquehanna and Salmon in Oswego. Some of his other hobbies included working on his tractors, specifically Kubota and John Deere, taking camping trips with his family and riding his motorcycle with his wife and brothers, Jim and Ted. Paul was a hardworking, kindhearted man, who was quick to help anyone in need.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sue Hill, of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, Rob & Amy Hill, of Mansfield; granddaughters, Allison Hill (Garett Sargent), of Mansfield, and Addison Hill, of Mansfield; mother, Marge Hill, of Roseville; siblings, Deb (Ed) Kent, of Elmira, NY, Sharon (Dave) Peet, of Middlebury Center, Sherry Cole, of Mansfield, Julie (Kevin) Watts, of Roseville, Jim Hill, of Roseville, Ted Hill, of Roseville, Linda (Mark) Dibble, of Ogdensburg, and Kevin (Kristi) Hill, of Cherry Flats; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

In addition to his father, Paul was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Paul Hill.
