Claude R. Wilston

Claude R. Wilston, 94, of Tioga, PA, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born July 23, 1928, in Nelson, PA, the son of Robert and Winifred (Reynolds) Wilston. Claude was a PennDOT retiree. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Tioga, and a 73-year member of the Tioga Lodge #373 F&AM.  

He is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law, Lewis & Charleen Wilston, of Tioga, PA, and Gary & Tina Wilston, of Penn Yan, NY; two daughters & a son-in-law, Nancy & Pete Heck, of Knoxville, PA, and Sue Wilcox, of Tioga, PA; Nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Claude was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, the former Anna Baker, in 1991, his brother, Donald, and one grandson. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Claude's name to the Hammond Cemetery Association, 533 North Road, Middlebury, PA 16935.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, January 8, from 2-4 p.m., at Wilston-Currie Funeral Home, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will immediately follow calling hours, at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Bill Baker officiating. Claude will be laid to rest in the Hammond Cemetery, Tioga, PA, www.wilstoncurriefh.com.
