Barbara J. Bailey

Barbara J. Bailey, 81, of Millerton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Edenbrook Nursing Home in Williamsport. Born September 7, 1943, in Elmira, she was a daughter of the late Otis J. & Myra M. (Griffin) Benson.

She was a devout Christian and attended church services at the West Jackson Baptist Church in Millerton. She retired from Kennedy Valve, in Elmira, after 28 years of employment. Barbara loved and cherished her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, LB (Jayne) Bailey and Martin L.E. Bailey; grandchildren, Joshua, Rachael, Lynnette, Andrew, Kaitlyn and Kendall; great grandson, Weston; step great grandchildren, Noelle and Hunter; brothers, Donald and Dean Benson; sister, Marie Smith; several nieces & nephews; and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Barbara’s name to the West Jackson Baptist Church, 1714 Alder Run Rd, Millerton, PA 16936.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest in Jobs Corners Cemetery in Jackson Township. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Wilston-Currie Funeral Home, Mansfield, www.wilstoncurriefh.com.
